Tip 1: Hang Out Near Trees
I recently saw a cryptic bumper sticker that
said, “Trees
Are the Answer.” It was referring to global warming and how
deforestation is contributing to climate change.
But in addition to
processing noxious gases into oxygen, trees also emit strong life-force
energy that can help you clear your head of toils, troubles, and “man-made” energy.
Once
I received attunements from Reiki classes, I literally found I
could feel the “energy” coming off trees – particularly
as I was riding my horse in the mountains.
To relax, try hanging
out near a large grouping of trees – in a city
park, in a state park, or the wilderness.
Sit quietly by or under the
trees, shut out the noises of the world, and concentrate on what
you see, feel, and hear.
LOOK UPWARD! Watch and enjoy the sunlight
filtering down through the leaves.
LISTEN! Tune in and listen to
the rustle of leaves in the breeze and the creak of branches.
FEEL! As you become more sensitive to life force energy through Reiki,
open yourself to feeling the powerful life force energy emanating
from the trees.
BREATHE! As you take in these subtle sounds and
sensations, breathe deeply from your diaphragm. Do this for even 10 minutes, and it’s
a good bet you will emerge from your “time-out” more
refreshed and relaxed than when you started.
